1. Once you sign up, we encourage you to look around or lurk before posting. As with the main site, we have a problem with new comers reading two sentences and thinking they know the whole site. If you are comfortable, join in one of the several hundred threads this forum has to offer.
2.ALL members are required to log in at least once every 60 days (We have the ability to check this). We understand there are people out there with real lives and that’s why we came up with this date. Basically you have to sign in six times a year to keep active here, not that hard. If there is a reason that you can’t meet this minimal requirement, PM one of the admins or mods and we can discuss the issue.
3. You are required to post in the” New Arrivals and Greetings” within 7 days of signing up. If this isn’t done, your account will be disabled automatically. Details required are State (country if outside the USA) you reside in (this can be back-checked with IP addresses) and Occupation (Actual current career/occupation, not just “volunteer” or “fire fighter” when you are only a volunteer). If you want to refuse to meet these requirements don't waste your and our time.
4. Any member's accounts found with dead email accounts will be disabled automatically.
5. Any accounts found using a temporary or easily obtainable email address ("one time use" types) will not be accepted. If you have no other choice, please email your complaint to the email address below and we will review it. Email addresses from yahoo.com, hotmail.com, and mailinator.com accounts (among others) can not be used for registration.
If you do not receive an activation email within twenty four (24) hours, please email admin@policeposers.com right away. Any accounts not activated in five (5) days will be deleted automatically.
Lastly, if you came here to see "what's up" or are looking for a lighting/siren/equipment hobbyist or buff board, this is not it. We discuss topics covered on the main site and other related topics. Users don't have access to most of the board for seven days (probation) so don't expect to hit the ground running as soon as your account is activated or get bored and leave since you can't see any of the fun stuff right away.
