I can only imagine what must have happened to the Wal-Mart guard I saw in my area chasing a VEHICLE! I was getting ready to leave Wal-Mart and I saw a black SUV speeding out of the parking lot, with the Wal-Mart security vehicle in hot pursuit. They both went towards the freeway. Needless to say, the guard couldn't catch or stop the vehicle.

When I talked to the guard later he told me the people in the SUV stole a trampoline from the outdoor display.

Rutner turned in his keys, security codes and badge.

Wow... they have a badge?Huh That's scarey- do they put that on their blue vest?

That's scary!

Some security companies around here issue "badges". From a distance they look official. Whacker

they call it a badge

Also LP's are not really security in the sense that security is to detur, LP's are there to catch.

I don't know if you're responding to my post or the OP, but I agree with you. The vehicle pursuit could have gone bad very quickly.

Well, in Calif. if the suspect trips on his own shoelaces and falls nose first on the pavement he can sue Wall Mart for millions.

Batman, I understand your point and agree with it.

But he wouldn't get millions out of Walmart. My mom works in a law office that often represents Wal-mart. Believe, Walmart is the last company you ever want to sue. They will fight *everything* to the bitter [Censored] end.

Well good for Wal Mart. Most companies just roll over and pay up.
